Oh, how I love handbuilding. More than any other technique, it's where you truly get to know clay: its weight, its resistance, its possibilities.
From the first class you'll learn a range of foundational techniques. As the weeks go on, those techniques become yours to use freely: make a set of cups, a bowl, a vase, whatever you've been wanting to create. We'll also explore glazing together.
The focus is on the process: learning to feel the material, building confidence, and enjoying the making. Not on how many pieces you produce.
If ceramics gets under your skin (it usually does), membership is a natural next step.
About the course:
Every Monday from 18.00 till 21.00
level: beginner and intermediate
incl: clay, tools, glazing, coffee/tea, and a teacher
max of 8 students
main language: English
Missed a class? No worries, you can catch up once per course period
more information about the course will be given per email before the start of the course
Cancellation policy:
Bookings can be cancelled up to and including 14 days before the start of the class. A cancellation fee will be charged of SEK 600 to cover administration costs.
